1. Identity and address of the data controller

2. Personal data we collect

  • Identification: name, date of birth, age, sex, signature, photograph.
  • Contact: address, phone, WhatsApp number, email.
  • Tax and payment: tax ID (RFC), tax address and payment details, for invoicing (CFDI).
  • Insurance: insurance company and policy number.
  • Minors: for Dentissimo Kids patients, the child's data and that of their parent or guardian.

Sensitive personal data: to provide dental care we collect information about your health, such as medical and dental history, allergies, medications, conditions, X-rays, CT scans, models, clinical photographs and your clinical record. This data is protected with enhanced security measures and processed only with your express written consent, except where the Law provides otherwise.

3. Purposes

Primary purposes (necessary for your care):

  • Scheduling, confirming and following up on appointments.
  • Evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans and dental procedures.
  • Creating and keeping your clinical record as required by Mexican health regulations (NOM-004-SSA3-2012 and NOM-013-SSA2-2015).
  • Quotes, billing and issuing tax invoices.
  • Processing claims with your insurer, when applicable.
  • Contacting you in an emergency or for post-treatment follow-up.

Secondary purposes (not necessary for your care):

  • Sending check-up reminders, promotions and information about our services.
  • Quality and satisfaction surveys.
  • Publishing "before and after" photos on our website and social media, only with your express written authorization, avoiding identifying you where possible.

If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, write to [privacy email] at any time. Declining will not affect the care you receive.

4. Data transfers

Dentissimo may transfer your data without your consent in the cases allowed by the Law, including to:

  • Dental laboratories and imaging centers, when needed for your diagnosis or treatment.
  • Other healthcare professionals, for prevention, diagnosis or medical care.
  • Your insurance company, to process reimbursements or payments.
  • Competent authorities, when required by law or court order.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

5. Your ARCO rights

You have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it if inaccurate, Cancel it when you believe it is no longer needed, or Object to its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights).

To exercise them, send a request to [privacy email] or deliver it at our office, including: (i) your name and how to send you our response; (ii) a copy of your official ID or that of your legal representative; (iii) a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise; and (iv) any document that helps locate your data.

We will respond within 20 business days of receiving your request; if granted, it will take effect within the following 15 business days. Please note that Mexican health regulations require clinical records to be kept for at least 5 years, so certain data may not be cancelled during that period.

6. Withdrawing consent and limiting use

You may withdraw your consent or limit the use and disclosure of your data by writing to [privacy email], following the same procedure as for ARCO rights. Withdrawal is not retroactive and, in some cases, may prevent us from continuing your treatment.
